Vinyl Canteen

The Vinyl Canteen opened in The Shipping Building at The Old Vinyl Factory yesterday. It has been created by artist and designer Morag Myerscough. This is our the counter on Sunday, in the final stages of prep before Monday’s opening.
The Vinyl Canteen is being operated by our friends at Greenwich Kitchen, an amazing organisation, run by the even more amazing Claire Pritchard. It’s part of The Greenwich C0-0perative Development Agency, a social enterprise that works across London to promote employment opportunities, healthy eating and urban food growing for people on low incomes. So, our tenants in the Shipping Building are going to be treated to food made from locally sourced ingredients, brought in fresh every day. Claire thinks that if you’re going to feed people every day then you have a duty to feed them good, honest healthy food. So here it is.
